ABOUT LADY KRAV MAGA
This program is tailored for women and girls aiming to enhance their overall fitness and acquire self-defense skills.
During the lockdown period, David and Eytan recognized the need to empower women to defend themselves. Through their conversations, they developed a vision to combine fitness training with Krav Maga, creating a program that offers the best of both worlds. This unique approach helps women become fitter, stronger, and more confident while also equipping them with the skills to effectively defend themselves in case of an attack. Their solution: Krav Maga, reimagined as a holistic fitness and self-defense program.

WHAT IS LADY KRAV MAGA
Krav Maga is a self-defense and combat system developed in Israel, known for its focus on practical techniques for real-world situations. It combines elements of various martial arts, including boxing, wrestling, judo, and karate, with an emphasis on efficiency, instinctive movements, and adaptability.
Unlike traditional martial arts, Krav Maga is not practiced as a sport. Instead, it teaches individuals how to respond effectively to threats, such as armed attacks or multiple assailants. Its techniques are designed to be simple, easy to learn, and effective regardless of age, size, or physical strength.
Krav Maga also promotes awareness, confidence, and the ability to de-escalate or handle potentially dangerous situations, making it a popular choice for self-defense training among civilians, law enforcement, and military personnel.

THE STORY BEHIND LADY KRAV MAGA
There is depth and organic meaning behind why Lady Krav Maga came into existence.
One of the founders had witnessed deeply troubling patterns of abuse within their own community—stories of men violating women, and households masking dysfunction behind a facade of normalcy. The traditional idea of marriage had, in many cases, lost its meaning, becoming a shadow of the unity, love, and partnership it was meant to represent.
Worse still, community leaders often stayed silent. The topic of abuse, along with issues like parental alienation, remained taboo. Those who spoke out were often seen as disruptors—accused of exposing uncomfortable truths rather than applauded for their courage. The pressure to "play happy families" overshadowed the very real suffering happening behind closed doors.
As more individuals opened up, the scale of the problem became undeniable. Close friends and acquaintances began sharing their own experiences of growing up in abusive homes. What had once been hidden was now impossible to ignore

Then, tragedy struck.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, crime surged, bringing a new wave of fear and urgency. In the very neighborhood where one of the founders had lived their whole life, a young woman named Zara Aleena was followed, raped, and murdered. She was a law graduate with a bright future—her life brutally cut short.
This horrifying event hit close to home. The grief, guilt, and anguish felt by the founder were overwhelming. As a parent, the pain was visceral. The fear that something like this could happen so close, to someone so full of promise, became a haunting reality. Laying flowers at the site of Zara’s death, alongside countless others, brought an overwhelming sense of helplessness—and determination.
Zara’s story became the turning point.
Out of this pain, Lady Krav Maga was born.
During the lockdown, David and Eytan began discussing how to empower women in a tangible, lasting way. From these conversations, a vision was formed: to create a holistic program combining fitness, Krav Maga, and self-defense—building not just physical strength, but confidence, resilience, and independence.
Lady Krav Maga is more than a martial arts program. It is a response to trauma, silence, and the systemic failure to protect women. It is a mission to restore agency and voice, to ensure women are never left defenseless again.
This is a movement driven by love, grief, and the unwavering belief that something must change.
